WE SELECT THE DEFENDERS OF PAKISTAN;

The motto which inspires the candidates who step in front of the ISSB centres.
Inter Services Selection Board (Kohat, Malir, Gujarnwala) is a feeder institution for the academies of the defense forces of Pakistan i.e Army, Navy and Air Force.
Firstly, the candidates are filtered through the respective Selection and Recruitment Centres, established in the major cities of the country. These initial tests include Academic and Intelligence tests, medical and interview. Thereafter, the successful candidates are called up at Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB) for detailed testing and scrutiny. This is the final step in testing the candidates for induction into the Armed Forces which is done through an elaborate testing system with a long scientific background to its credit.
My words:
Young, enthusiastic candidates who apply to serve in the Armed Forces of our country often get confused or perhaps tensed before taking the test of ISSB.

But to tell you the truth and rather frankly, ISSB is the easiest and excitingly adventurous test in Pakistan. I spent 5 days and 4 nights at ISSB Malir and the memories I have collected from there are never forgetting.
You just feel like in another home. Although, you are always missing your family and home but the environment here is such which makes you feel better, out of worries and the intensity of your family memories is reduced to some extent.
Furthermore, I think when the candidate knows that he or she is leaving her home for a good purpose; the purpose to get selected in the Armed Forces so that they can serve as the defenders of their country, you feel relaxed. And you try your best not only to make your parents proud of you but also to make Pakistan proud. You struggle hard because gradually you start realizing that you have an obligation towards your country and that feeling compels you to put in all efforts.

Are you determined to render all your services to Pakistan to the extent of sacrificing your life??

WHY DO "YOU" WANT TO JOIN THE ARMED FORCES?

* Is it that you have no other field to go?
* Is it because you were compelled to take the test of armed forces by your parents?
* Is it because you are very much good at fighting?
* Is it that you are taking the test for enjoyment and do not want to go there in reality?

render all services for defending your homeland
as you feel that you have some duties to fulfill
regarding the defense of Pakistan. And you can
not see someone talking against your country; you
can not tolerate any evil eye sneaking a peak on

AIM OF ISSB:
Aim of ISSB is to select potential officers for the Defense Forces of Pakistan who have the requisite capabilities to successfully complete their course of training at the Academies and also possess physical, mental, social and dynamic qualities to make successful leaders during peace and war.

WE ARE PROUD TO BE PAKISTANIS

Our nation is second to none. We'll show this world one day that "WE" are the really ones who are talented, enthusiastic, courageous, patriotic, determined, and above all "TRUE" Muslims. We will never let the enemy have the evil designs against our country, InshaAllah.
